Character and Strength

I always wondered, what makes few characters strong and others not ?
And after a lot of analysis, primarily of people I met or (believe to) know through different media, I am ready to submit a partial theory to begin with :-
There can't be any Character without Strength.
To discuss this any further we need to define both "Character" and 'Strength" a bit more :-
Character
A set of principles or guidelines, not necessarily positive, a person can be trusted to stick too, come what may. So broadly this divides humans in to two major sphere's few whose response to certain situations can be predicted and others who vary their response based on consideration or vested interest (namely hypocrites). This somehow is what the entire selection into defense is based upon. Their whole probing/grilling (hope you have faced SSB sometimes) is to find out candidates who will follow orders/training learnings irrespective of petty calculations.
Strength
A driving force allowing individual to propagate and take decisions/stances. Now strength in itself can be of many kinds both internal or external. Somebody can be stinky rich and thus can easily afford to let profit making opportunity go for his/her believes/convictions, or a sheer hardworker never shy of putting extra hours without worrying for outcome as such. But all kind of strengths require some degree of will power and vision as platform to lay their foundations to. Examples can be Mahatama Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar to Adolf Hitler or Great Alexander.

Conclusion:
Its obviously too complex a topic to be covered under one blog and too open to be concluded at all but roughly I would never risk trusting some one for good or bad till am not sure of his/her strength which can be mental, physical, financial anything.
So, there can't be any character without strength !

Time

Why for me (Seasoned Procrastinator) there are only two stages between the decision day to the delivery day, one where I feel there's more than enough time to start and the other when I realise that time is too little to worry for quality.

Looks, time comes only in two packets --> Abundance or Scarcity.

Sachin and Patriortism

Well just watched :-
Sachin's knock against Australia at Hyderabad

Obviously saying/typing anything more for Sachin will be like adding water to ocean. So instead I would like to limit to bullet points :-
  • This match at the beginning was all about Sachin crossing the 17000 mark but by the the end do we realize the man has already covered 17% of the next milestone 18000 !
  • Such is the greatness of Sachin and thanks to him so many admirers/critics are generating moolah participating in the surreal phenomenon ......S.R.Tendulkar.
  • There's always a talk of India losing inspite of Sachin playing his heart out, but then let's not forget the importance of fundamentals, Sachin is not mere brilliant, he' prepares maximum among all 22 players before any match and to get similar results India team and Indian cricket system have to incorporate similar (even 25%) discipline.
And talking of current Indian team I guess players are good but just need a little break to reorganize a bit. Today's other good performers were Raina and Jadeja out of which former has already proved his quality as limited over batsman and latter certainly needs to be given more chances as I would like to bet on his temperament more than that of the immediate option Virat Kohli.

Respecting quality beyond carier

well, one of the reasons I could manage to save my character from total downfall is introspection. But even more important factor is ability to respect qualities.
Qualities observed in others irrespective of personal equations with them. This is very tough and can only be adopted through regular practice, but once implemented even partially is a sure shot remedy of progress, growth and continuous learning.

Why this Blog?

Well the answer lies in "why Blogging" at all? Does it pays ? No. Does it publish. Technically yes. Does anybody reads it ? Yes, sometime I myself can !
So, basically you will find many bloggers struggling at this first question itself and the more I struggle the more thoughts I have....Hmmm...nore thoughts...Well that's interesting...Then why Bloody Thoughts?
Actually the only commonality I have observed in my thoughts is randomness and thus in lieu of any direction or heading I settled on this one........afterall Bloody not only reflect hate but also a inherent link, a sense of incompleteness without someone. And what am I, if these thoughts are not and if they don't change colors so fast !
Let's see where and how far they take this Blog to........
Cheers,
